Oh… wow. It feels just like yesterday (really!) that I founded this audio production studio in September of 2004 – twenty years ago.

The idea of establishing this business of mine began growing at around early 2003, back while I was still employed at this technology-driven translation agency named GK Associates. One day, I proposed our CEO about setting up an audio-visual production station, so that we could take in more video/audio jobs. With my production expertise, we could start immediately and make it big out there!

Alas… My proposal was instantaneously turned down. She might’ve took it as a risk factor… who knows. That’s when I decided to go independent.

Within 2 years, I put in enough groundwork to launch this business, while working closely with my previous employer and former colleagues as an outsourcer. Things worked out really good, in fact! … and I was very fortunate.

Sadly, the GK Associates eventually ran into some financial difficulty (or so I was told), and was later acquired by a larger company specialized in print-based media production. Soon, I stopped hearing from them, and I took it as the Associates were completely engulfed, consumed, and chewed up into pieces beyond recognition. When it happens, it happens.

Meanwhile, my business grew steadily. We strived toward efficiency and accuracy, and utilized a lot of coding/algorithmic means to make things happen (oh yes! I’m a former professional coder as well). As of now, we serve 108 customers in 37 countries across the globe, and continue to serve you today and tomorrow. Bring them in, and we’ll process it for ya!☺️

Last but not least, I truly appreciate you and your long-lasting patronage. Without you and your initiatives as clients, we wouldn’t have made it this far… for sure! Let us look forward to more collaborations happening very soon.

PS: My special thanks goes to my former boss, Mr. Shimizu Tomoyoshi, who showed me pretty much the A-to-Z of working as a professional. He was the one who introduced me to the Python programming language, which I still use almost every day. I’m thinking of you a lot these days, Mr. Shimizu!!
